The exhibition area of BIC2015 exceeds 35,000㎡, up 25% year-on-year. It gathers 422 exhibitors from leading upstream and downstream enterprises in the building industry chain from Germany, America, Canada, UK, Italy, Austria, Finland, Switzerland and Japan, up 12.2% year-on-year. Among them, the building industrialization sector grows especially violently, with the number of exhibitors and exhibition area up 44% and 67.6% respectively year on year.

Number of professional visitors increase constantly; data analysis highlights advantages and sets a clear direction
Despite the pressure from BIC2014, when the number of professional visitors had a blowout-type growth (up 37.84%), BIC2015 continues to make breakthroughs with great perseverance. Through a superior layout of the building industry chain, it gathers 25,374 professional visitors form 51 countries and regions, up 38.2% year-on-year.
It seems unexpected but actually stands to reason that BIC welcomes such a sharp growth in the number of visitors. The main reason is that the government resources show evident advantages and the organization has been greatly enhanced. Besides, the new sectors facilitate a complete presentation of the industry chain and the overall scale of the event has been expanded. What’s more, the number of visitors from real estate developers, suppliers of building material production equipment, components and parts as well as the insulation decorative integration industry also rises significantly, up 200% compared with that of last year.
According to the visitor statistics, the sectors that the visitors focus on have extended from architectural design and building industrialization to green building and equipment (23.41%) and insulation materials and technologies (20.09%). In the meanwhile the popularity of BIM has also been enhanced greatly, up from 4.65% to 18.28%，which plays an important role of guidance for BIC to layout the industry and expand the market. In addition, the on-site sampling visitor survey also suggests that, instead of collecting market information, the visitors are aiming to make procurement and seek for partners.
To sum up, the concern of the visitors with the sectors have been relatively balanced and their purpose of participation has turned to procurements and partnerships. It will play a crucial role for BIC to improve constantly the exhibitors from the whole green building industry chain, hence serve better the exhibitors and visitors.
Concurrent events match highly with exhibition theme; classic contents gather core industry contacts
The concurrent events of 2015 China Shanghai Green Building and Energy Efficiency Technology Week is composed of 27 events, including the opening ceremony of the Technology Week, the rewarding ceremony of the Energy-saving Star Awards, rewarding ceremony of the Green Building Awards, 18 thematic forums, 3 summits and 3 academic seminars, which gather the core industry contacts with diversified forms and classic contents.
As a concurrent event of the exhibition, 2015China Shanghai Green Building and Energy Efficiency Technology Week received great concern from the relevant government departments.
